For any TCSers out there who may have a treadmill……have you ever had to change the walking belt on your treadmill? If so, what was the problem and did changing the belt resolve the problem?

That was the most it had ever been used and it was never used again

Maybe your thread should have been For those of you who USE your treadmills.

I actually have a very nice treadmill but never use it. Sorry!

I've only had my treadmill a little over a year and it's not gotten much use in most of this last year either.

Well gosh everyone!!! Who lives closest to me?! Who wants to give theirs away?!!!!!!!!
I had a co-worker give me one, but there are major issues with the walking belt....and I'm not sure that changing the belt will fix the problem.

I have a "True" treadmill. I have to use some parafin wax and apply so the belt moves smoothly. Even though I don't use in spring/summer I did have a message on my treadmill for maintenance once it reached a certain amount of miles.

I contacted the place I bought it from and evidently they were impressed that I got this message!!

Ahhh, so you actually use your treadmill. Good for you.

It sounds like maybe they don't get that many people to call for the maintenance.

I wish I had a treadmill! I get to use one at physiotherapy twice a week and I love it so much that I go early so I can get 20 minutes on it before my appointment and another 20 minutes during it. I was at the doctors the other day and they have a treadmill there and I had some time to wait before my ride came so I asked if I could use the treadmill instead of just sitting like a bump for 45 minutes.

I'd toss out my couch in order to make room for a treadmill if I could afford to buy one
