This morning I was half asleep laying in bed while hubby wasa getting ready for work in another room. I heard oneof the cats on the stero beside the bed. Did not think much of it. Well boy did I get a very rude awakening. Ping jumped off the stero (all 12lbs of him) straight on to my face. Then used my face as a spring board to race out of the room. And now I have a nice cut on my bottom lip from this.

I think the cooler weather is makng these 2 more hyper than usual.

ENGLAND... LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY!
Ooooooh

Jack bounces all over the bed in the mornings, and he'll walk across the pillow above my head, jump on the bedside table, then jump across onto me then try and grab my feet. Luckily he's still little and i can't really feel him, because if the girls did that with their weight

I feel your pain! My Radar always steps delicately, he's only just 8lbs anyway, but even when he jumps up on me he's really careful and lands gently. Sonic on the other hand - well I don't know his exact weight at the moment, he's still a growing boy, but he's definitely heavier than Radar - and he lands like a sackful of bricks. When he lands on your stomach in the middle of the night there's no mistaking it!

I can actually tell which one of them is walking across the end of the bed in the dark as Radar tiptoes and Sonic stomps!

I know that feeling. It's not uncommon for me to have 5+ kitties land on me, one right after the other, when they're in the middle of one of their play sessions.

The Sonic Stomp... I think I sense a new dance craze. Move over, Macarena!

I had Antigone do this to me the other night, she's a hefty girl, at least 11 or 12 lbs, and she jumped off the top of the couch right on my stomach
it was a complete surprise too and then as soon as she hit the floor she turned towards me and had the "what??" expression
