My boyfriend and I have two cats and I'm not sure who the culprit is but I'm suspecting that it's Sunny... our 1 1/2 year old "Little Girl".

I noticed one day that my yellow flip flops had bite marks all over them... I didn't think much of it as they are cheap and I hadn't noticed a problem with any of our other shoes...

Until today when I noticed that the toe of one of my work shoes was similarly disfigured... it too is yellow.

Do cats really prefer certain colors over others? Anyone else see this in their fuzzy little demons? I'm neither upset nor concerned... but it is interesting!

Hi and welcome

I have 11 cats and none chew on anything unless it's edible. Just in case check your cats' teeth and gums.

Cats can see some color - not like we can, so they may prefer a certain color over another. If you don't want them chewing on shoes, etc., then spray some Bitter Apple spray on the shoes (won't hurt them).

We had to do it to stop Keno from chewing on shoes. Works for cats too
