Naughty kitty
But that is an awesome chameleon setup already.

How is he building a kitty-proof that still allows the airflow of the screen?

Ooooo Dat's a bad putty tat.

That's a great enclosure. I wish I had a workshop to make things like that for my coldblooded critters. My most ingenious setup is my big iggy in a Ferret playpen.

I'm sure you will have one very happy chameleon (one the feline threat is eased)

How do you convince a cat that lizards are "friends, not food"?

I still want to know how you make cat proof with the same air flow as screen.

I know you said you guys are reptile savvy, but chameleons will die, rather quickly when kept enclosed without that free flow of air.

Wow, kinda rude considering I asked out of curiosity, and true concern for the animal.
I wanted to know because I've wanted chameleons again myself and cannot come up with a way to cat proof and keep air flow.

Reptile only room is the best bet. Chameleons tend to be one of the flightier reptiles that can easily become stressed, something as simple as being in a busier part of a room (or store) can do it. I'd imagine being constantly under cat surveillance would stress a chameleon too.

That was pretty much my thought.
Sold my Jacksons male and Veiled female when I could no longer dedicate a room to them, but they were in reptariums.
I would so love to have a Jacksons again, but sill, no room to devote.
