We have had 5 weeks of sunshine and very little rain and it was 85 degrees two days ago. Yesterday I got up and it was 68 degrees, by noon it was 63 and rainy.
Summer had a nice long run this year.

So it's chilly and the cats are in for snuggling, it's hard to turn in bed without bouncing one off the bed.
This season I have a dog again, and I don't usually go out in the rain, but that's no longer an option. That boy wants walked and he doesn't care that it's raining. So the umbrella is drying out and so am I with a nice hot cup of tea right now.
I have the cats for comfort and the dog for the motivation to get off my sofa and go outside. Pets are so good for me.

Our temps have dropped, too. Unfortunately we didn't get any rain!

Kind strange not hearing the A/C running...

It has gotten colder here too. It was around 45 degrees when I went out to the barn this morning, I wasn't really prepared for the colder temperatures! It's supposed to be in the 60s all week. I love this weather!

My adult male box turtle refused food yesterday.
He knows better then I or any weather report that the weather is about to turn.
Now it's time for me to worry that they'll all be safely under and insulated well enough soon.

Its almost winter here. Bemidji, MN got 2 inches of snow yesterday, lucky!
I woke up this morning to temps in the 20s- freezing... brrrr!
Needless to say, no more AC needed for this year!

It turned cold here also.
I prefer 60's to 90's. It sounds like you have the perfect antidote to cooler weather.

I didn't need to hear that! I need to get out the shovel, and make sure the snowblower and generator are running okay.

I hate when I have to close the windows finally, it's so quiet inside. I keep a window cracked as long as I can. I also try to wear sandals into November, I don't like putting shoes back on every day.

I like it for sleeping! But its actually hotter in my apartment now because in the summer my landlord would BLAST AC all day and night long. I was
all the time.
