Thanks everyone! Maxx is doing well. He was neutered on Tuesday and seems to be doing well. He was not too sure about me at first but is warming up. Today he is playing and even let me pet him a few times.
He and Peaches seem to get along well. Maxx was in his own room until the other day when Ms. Peaches pushed the door open and let him out. There was no going back after that! She must have decided it was time for him to join the family! Anyway.... he's so cute. He's a very small cat at 3 years and 6.40 lbs. He doesn't look underweight. He's just very small. And I just love those short little cobby legs! He looks like a kitten when he plays.

He is a cutie, isn't he? Tonight him and Peaches were chasing each other around the house. It was so cute. It just does my heart good to see that. And to see Peaches playing and happy again is priceless! I'm still feeling the loss of Jake very strongly. But having Maxx seems to help me some too.

I've always loved the black and white Persian...... Oh heck, who am I kidding?
We all know I love any Persian!
Well, any cat for that matter!
But I have always really liked any black and white/tuxedo cat!

He just loves to play and He'll play at the drop of a hat. Or should I say at the drop of a toy?
His personality is really starting to come out now. I saw a glimpse of it when I first saw him but it's really shinning now. And his eyes are just stunning. There is just something about those eyes. He's eating well now too and I can't wait to see him once his coat has filled in.

I'm sure Jake had his paw in this adoption. And I think he's happy now that Peaches and I have a man in the house again. I miss him like crazy and my heart still aches something awful. But it helps a tiny bit to think he had a paw in this!

He is such a doll. He is going to be so lovely when his coat comes back in fully. Please post photos agian then. Where did you get him. I am really thinking of getting a Persian/Himalayan next. Just love those little faces.

Actually I was looking at a dilute calico on petfinder and the foster for her had Maxx too. I fell in love with his little face instantly.

Thanks Susan! He's still getting used to me. But I think before long he'll trust me completely!

Here's one more.

Aren't those eyes gorgeous? Once his coat is grown out and I can get him groomed up and trimmed, I may try showing him. I believe in the premiership stage they can be altered.
