There's no place like home
When we moved last year and had to transport our cats for an hour long drive, I told my husband to take the cats in his car and I would transport the litter boxes in mine. He thought he had the better end of the deal until he got on the road with 8 screaming cats. Now you know why I insisted on the litter boxes.

I feel for you, I really do!

OMG!!!! What a horrible car ride! I know how you feel but only to about 1/10th of your horror! Leya will puke and poo if we keep her in the carrier. I'm guessing it's because she's blind and gets really scared.

I can't believe that ride, nasty!

Well, this story ought to make Ferris feel MUCH better about having peed all over himself in his carrier on a vet visit. He was SO embarrassed (sp) he practically blushed.

You poor thing!

Oh, that
did make me laugh out loud, I'm so sorry it happened to you, but glad it wasn't me

I have been known to use "puppy training pads" in the bottom of the carrier. It won't help for poo or puke, but it will keep your car seat from getting hosed down...

Sorry, but I can just picture Tosh thinking, "What more can I do to make her stop taking me to that awful place?"

OMG that is hilarious but I feel for you deeply! I can't believe that, it seems everything that could have gone wrong DID go wrong! I am glad you can laugh about it though. That's what I try to do when my cats act crazy.

After that drive home I would need a bottle of wine, a couple shots, and a beer! LOL

Oh I had the puppy training pads in the carrier but he pushes it around. He thinks he can hide under it and not be seen. "Oh my, where did Tosh go to?"
He does it every time he gets put into a carrier.

Its ok. I truly was laughing about it myself. I love being able to share things with others that will give them some joy. If nothing else then the next time one of you all goes to the vet and one of yours poops or pees in the carrier you can think: "At least it is not as bad as what happened to Worriedmommy"
