Cleaning out the Private Messages (PM)

Those of you who use PM's here, and most of you do. Periodically you need to clean out your bin or it clogs up and you don't get new messages.

It is quite easy to do:

Click on user cp- then click on private messaging
to the left see where it says Show all Messages? Click there and highlight the words: the beginning, then click on each individual PM section- your in box- sent box and message tracking- delete all PM's showing there that you don't need any more.

Then you bin is clean and more PM's can arrive. Try to do this at least once a month.

Hey Whiskers Mom? You need to clean out your box!

I did! I only had 6-7 PM's in there to clean out! I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I've selected 'in the beginning' and it pulled up 6-7 PM's.

How many is too many???

I also deleted all of my sent ones.

Ah blast ignore me.

Be sure to check your Message Tracking, too. That can also clog things up.

Heidi....you are correct. Hissy just cleaned my PM's for me. It was the message tracking!
