Hello

The wild kitten around my house I have seen every night. I just get confused because i know how skitish he is, and how he doesnt like people so i am constantly moving his food around my property

I really like putting the food under my deckbecause the deck is covered so if its raining the food wont get wet. BUt will the cat continue to feed from there? My deck is sourounded by five foot fence most cats including my pet cats just find a spot under the fence to go in and out of the back yard. Sometimes one of my cats will climb right over the fence. I Relaly think putting the feral cats food in this area is so much better because not many wild animals like to venture on my deck which is right near the door to the house.

I have seen the feral cat eating food from that area but only after i open up the gate and show him its "safe"

SHould i just keep his food in this area or continue to move it around? He doesnt seem to concerned about food he seems actually in decent shape for a growing cat and seems really healthy. I wonder if hes been eating and killing his own food??

Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s best to find one location to keep the food at instead of continually moving it around. This way the cat will know where the food will always be and not get confused on where to find it. As long as there is access to the food the cat will continue to feed there.
