Hi Frank, welcome to TCS.

It is essential that your senior kitty be seen by a vet.
We cannot possibly tell what is wrong with her jaw from a distance....
better safe than sorry.
Please keep us updated.

Maybe she is having an issue with her teeth and that is affecting the jaw. Just a thought... but definitely should see a vet. Will you be gone long? Do you have any antibiotics there that your gf could give her while your away?

It could well be her teeth and she does need to see a vet. Do NOT give your kitty anything without first at least speaking to a vet.

I would take her to the vet.....my old girl (16 at the time) had a swollen smelly jaw (infection) so I took her in, and unfortunatly it was bone cancer causing the jaw to move, causeing the infection.....So take her in, better safe......if she's in pain because of that it isn't nice for anybody
