Incredible Kitten Nursing Story

Hey, I'm new to these forums, so I hope this hasn't been posted already.

Did you guys hear about this incredible story where a kitten almost died before being nursed back to health by a golden retriever?!

Do cats do this often? Nurse on dogs, that is? I've never heard of such a thing.

It does actually happen quite a lot - interspecies nursing, and I've seen some unbelievable 'crosses' on TV - really strange ones! And it makes you wonder what's wrong with us for thinking it's that peculiar... would it ever occur to you to help out another species that way? Apparently we did it way back in Medieval (or earlier) times, but would think it horrid today, wouldn't we.
