When I had mine, (the doc didn't tell me it was for my gall bladder, but I suspected it) the screen showed a concentration of little dots on the screen. I KNEW it was my gall bladder.

I went back for the results a week later on a Wednesday, saw the surgeon on Thursday and had my gall bladder removed on Friday. In and out the same day. I wasn't even in a hospital but one of those out patient surgery centers.

Let us know what the doctor says. It is rediculous they wouldn't call your doctor even though he told you to have them call. Be sure and let him know that they refused.

Get well vibes to ya!
thats EXACTLY how its feeling tonight!!! the pain is under the breasts, and on the right side, around to the back of the kidney area. its ok after a few hours, till i eat or drink.

The pain hasent subsided at all since i let the hospital. its worse then when i went in!!! but all they will say is your gonna hurt for a while, deal with it.

That sounds like what I had, they couldn't find any stones on x-rays, but when they took it out, the surgeon said it looked like, someone had dumped coarse ground pepper in it, I was 20, my 16 year old neice just had the same thing, It was terribly painful.
I hope you can get to the bottom of this soon

idk. it does sound like maybe a combination of anxiety and something else.

I am the queen of panic attacks, I've had so many and so many different kinds. Some can feel a heart attack, like you're going crazy, crawling out of your skin.. the last two I had felt like strokes.

Big difference though... they don't last non-stop. I've had multiples per day, but there's always a breather in there, and while they're uncomfortable, they're never painful.

i can be very stressful to know something's wrong with you and not be able to adress the issue properly. poor thing, hope you get ahold of your doctor soon.

well, i saw my primary doc today.

she agreed with me that it WASENT my heart, lung or chest wall pain. she seems to think gallbladder too. She arranged for me to have a ultrasound at 2pm today, then will go from there.

Only down fall is they cant get my painlevel down to far till they figure it out, and that i cant eat much, only clear liquids and rice and the like. well, maybe outta all this i will loose some weight, lol

If it is gallstones then you will probably have the surgery soon. It is simple. I have 4 tiny incisions because they did it laproscopic. I had internal desolvable stitches and steristips on the outside. You can barely see the scars now except for the one just above my belly button. I was back at work in 10 days.

My doc said my gallbladder was full of tiny stones. He said they stopped counting at 25!
He was supposed to save them for me but he forgot! I know that sounds weird, but I have actually seen some larger gallstones and they are quite pretty. LOL My hubby used to work in surgery and brought a couple home in a test tube.

When I had mine taken out, I had the big incision that's about 8 inches long: of course, that was in the "olden" days, before all this modern technology! Shows ya how old I am!

I had 30 stones, and they were the goofiest looking things I ever saw!
Kinda like little moonstones.

I was just wondering if there's been an update w/ your situation, Liza.
And was your high blood-pressure ever addressed?? That needs to be looked into...
