or do they take lessons??
Yesterday, my s/o and I took a last mini-vacation down to Galveston before the weather turns colder. On the way back, we ran into some really bad weather - high winds, and heavy rain. My s/o had a difficult time keeping the truck on the road, even though he was only going about 30-40 miles an hour. He had enough sense to slow down, and would have pulled over if the conditions got much worse. But apparently, most of the other drivers were either stupid, or just plain don't give a
. They were passing us by so fast that they made us look like we were practically standing still. I don't understand stupidity like that.
One of the vehicles that passed us lost control and flipped over about a mile or so down the road. And we saw numerous ambulances on the other side, going in the direction that we just came from: so you just knew that there had been more accidents....
What really irks me about idiots like that is the fact that they're not only risking their own lives, but eveyone else's, also.
If they care to take a chance and play w/ their own life, that's their decision: but to endanger others just irks me to no end.
Don't people care anymore??
I had to take a Valium to calm down b/c I was such a nervous wreak, and I gave one to my s/o too, b/c even HE was getting agitated - and stuff like that usually doesn't bother him. But that's how nerve-wracking it was. Thank God the weather got better before got to the Houston area! They drive like maniacs there all the time as it is, and most of them don't slow down even if the weather's bad. I think I would have had a heart attack if we would have had to drive amongst the lunatics AND the bad weather combined!
