Ok I took my 1 1/2 y/o for possible UTI and their annual checkups. I bring them back and mother hasnt stopped growling/hissing and its been 2 days. I ad this happen before but it was when they were kittens and she didnt act like she was gonna fight with them. Doesnt this wear off eventually?

It does eventually as they get used to one another. Some ways to speed it up. Rub one cat with a towel and then rub the other cats. Or you can put some vanilla extract (not imitation) under the chins and near the base of the tails for all of the cats.

The idea is to get them to smell similar.

It makes them smell similar and isn't an offensive smell to them.

its weird cause they both were at the vet and the first day were both hissing at each other but today are playing with each other. Our queen is now use to them..no hissing from her. We are just waiting for mama

check out my cats!

Such beautiful kitties.

You have to remember that cats go off of their sense of smell to recognize each other. When they don't recognize the smell, they don't recognize the cat. Today, they are smelling like their old selves so everyone is happy.
