I know it's really stupid of me to ask this question , but the problem is that all of the time i thought that he's burmese but someone told me that he is absoulotley NOT....!!!!!!
so can you tell me exactly what's he's breed
(... Don't you just wanna hug him...)

Even without seeing the picture there are some questions to ask. What made you think he is Burmese? Do you have any papers or records of his parents? Were you just told that? Where did you get him - a breeder, a petshop, shelter? Often these people will say a cat resembles a particular breed or is a particular 'type' if it doesn't have papers or if they think it will sell better. Sadly, without papers or pedigree, all you can do is go by his description and call him a 'domestic shorthair, burmese type colour, body', or whatever. I am sure he is beautiful.

Without a papers, it is not possible to know if they descended from a breed. Breeding emphasizes certain traits, but many cats may have that trait and never have been part of a given breed. There is a crucial difference between breeds and traits. A particular breed of cat may almost always have a particular trait, but not every cat with that trait is a member of that breed.
