I just bought some NV Raw Instinct Rabbit, a new grain free kibble for my kits to try - I knew that Penny enjoys bunny.

I got the smaller bag the other day, and offered some first to Ginger, Ms. Finicky herself, who immediately turned up her nose, then turned her back to it.

Then I offered some to Penny, who gobbled it out of my hand like it was candy. So I thought, well, I can use it as a treat for Penny, if I can't mix it in with the rest of their dry. (Really wasn't worried about Ferris not eating it - he eats nearly any/everything.)

This was a few days ago.

So last night, I pulled some out of the bag (LOVE that zip close!) and gave some to Penny as a treat. She happily munched away, then got distracted by a bird outside the window and jumped to investigate.

Ginger, who was watching me give Penny her "treat" decided that she wanted to see what Penny had been given, so over she came to check it out.

She walked up to the small pile of kibble Penny had jumped away from in search of interesting bird, and to my surprise, she proceeded to eat up every last piece, and ENJOYED it!

She really is terribly fickle, the little brat.

I'm thinking of adding it into the treat jar instead of the dry mix - I'd rather they eat kibble as a treat than eat the junk food treats that they love and I feel guilty about, LOL!

It tasted better this time because it belonged to somebody else.
