Please this is concerning ANNE all members read!

Most of you do not know much about this, so let me preface this by saying that Anne's husband has been ill for some time. Anne has been taking him from doctor to doctor trying to get answers, and no one seemed to know what was wrong until yesterday.

Issac's symptoms are fatigue, an enlarged and painful liver and weakness. He will be watching Ron for Anne so she can get some work done, and he will fall asleep without wanting to. Issac was diagnosed yesterday with Wilsons Disease.

Wilsons Disease is when the body has to much copper in it and the liver starts to malfunction. It is a chronic hepatitis and if not caught in the early stages can lead to severe neuroligical problems including slurring of speech and the inability to walk. It is a most serious issue right now facing Anne and her husband, and it can be fatal if not caught in time. However, at this point Issac does not have any neurological symptoms at all! Issac does have 40 times more copper in his system than he is supposed to though.


She has asked me to post for her and ask for your patience with her. She will be unable to respond to any complaints about the board so for now, would you use my email to send me anything you might be getting as far as error messages or glitches?

She will not be able to show up daily and lurk and catch up with all of us until she can sort this out. She has got all the websites known to mankind regarding Wilsons Disease and her and Issac are trying to figure out their best recourse. She also asks for all your prayers, positive thoughts and well wishes! And moderators, she won't be active in the mod lounge either. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and centered in your prayers. This is such a scary time for her on all levels and if she doesn't have to worry about one thing- like this board- then her burdens are made a bit easier.

Oh My God!! I am SO sorry to hear this!!!!! I feel so bad for Anne and her husband!!! I hope they can treat this right away so it doesn't get any worse!!!! Please tell Anne that she and her husband are in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be!!!!!!! Please keep us posted on any word you hear from Anne on how things are going!!!! What a horrible time for Anne. We all love her so much, and I'm positive even those who don't reply to this thread are keeping her in their thoughts and prayers.

Anne, Issac and Ron certainly have my energy directed toward them. Sending my love.....

To have to deal with such a scary diagnosis on top of dealing with the bombings in Israel and the impending war in Iraq must be absolutely overwhelming for Anne and her family.

I am sending all of my healthy and supportive thoughts to Anne and Issac and am praying that things remain (become) peaceful in Israel.

Please convey our family's thoughts and prayers. Will continue to keep them all in our daily prayers. Please keep us posted whenever possible. Hugs to all.
