Morning all.

I've just finished a night shift at the place I do voluntary work for and had not a wink of sleep - busy all night long. My body clock is telling me it is time to be awake, my eyes and brain are telling me to climb up the wooden hill to Bed-fordshire. Argh, I hate this feeling. I need to watch some type of murder-mystery TV programme - Murder She Wrote or Perry Mason - they always send me to sleep.....

Keeping my fingers crossed for Bundylee and her family.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hey - this is the first time I've ever seen a DT on the actual day it was for (time difference and all
).

It's 9.25pm here - today we had a family lunch with my father (who is in town on medical appointments) and my brother and sister, and a bunch of cousins/aunts/uncles etc. It was nice and relaxing - except on the way back we passed by a bush fire (relatively small, nothing like what Leslie is going through right now, although a house was lost). It was a very hot day today, 38Celcius (100Farenheit I think)when I last looked, worst conditions for the fires

We're watching a Bond movie and then heading to bed.

Good morning, everyone else in the other hemisphere!

I got up early, Im not sure why.
But I did see Signs last night (yay) and I liked it. I know some people here didnt like it but I did. I thought it was creepy and well made. Not to mention Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix.

This morning I have to go and get the groceries. Lots of fun.
I started watching Ice Age and it was funny!

I dont know what else I will do today, but I hope you all have a great day!

Movin' on up!
Taking it easy, today. Bill's frying the bacon, right now and I'll be making the French toast, in a few minutes.

The dogs are having their morning romp, in the yard, Opie's on neighborhood watch, at the front window and Rowdy is tearing around the house. In other words - just a normal morning, here!

Morning all!!!!

flimflam, naomi, ...hope you both got a good sleep!!!

Kellye...glad you enjoyed Signs. I don't really get a chance to rent movies like that. Now, Ice Age...that's more on my level. We all loved that one, and Country Bears....see, my 8 year old and 4 year old control the movie pickings so far....

Cindy....french toast and bacon!!!! My favorite!

Today, is my "fun, fun" day. Time to catch up on laundry, cooking and of course I have the kitty litter chore for later. I also have to finish packing my Avon orders and then its off to do some deliveries. Ahhhh...a nice relaxing saturday. Guess not! I also have to find time for groceries.

By the time I finish my To-Do list, it'll be time to head back to work on monday.

Hope everyone has a great week-end.

It's REALLY cold here. We were hoping to go skating or crazy carpetting later (after all the chores) but I think we'll wait
for a nicer day.

What is Crazy Carpetting Ghyslaine?
I just finished watching 'Trapped' with Kevin Bacon. It was pretty good, the little girl is cute, she looks familiar, though.

Kellye, Crazy Carpet is just a large piece of thick plastic with handles. The kids love them. They go flying down the slopes. In our case...the tiny little snow pile we made for them in our own back yard. They do tend to be a little dangerous if you are not careful because the speed of those things is unbelievable. 'crazy carpetting' probably is not even a word....
And plus...you can buy a Crazy Carpet for $2.99 canadian. How cool is that????

We ended up taking the boys skating last night. Brrrrrr.... wow! I kind of wondered why we were the only ones there!!:tounge2: But, the boys had a blast. I need to buy some skates. Can't wait!! I used to figure skate....back in my old days. My goal today will be to stay off of my butt!!

Right now, the boys are gone for a ride on the skidoo. I have yet to learn how to drive one. I will though. We have two and only one driver. I'm just nervous. It will be a fun family outing though once I get brave enough to go.

Last night...I was glued to the TV. I am so thrilled because my 8 year old LOVES one program that I do to: Trading Spaces...I could watch shows like that and While you were out all the time.

Wow Ghys! Your bringing back such memories for me! I loved my crazy carpet as a kid! It was red and matched my red snowsuit...I was so fashionable

Yes, you can seriously hurt yourself on those things. And since there is not 'much' underneath you, you can really hurt your bottom as well!
Make sure their snowsuits have extra 'bum' padding!
