I have a 1 and a half year old neutered, male Sphynx cat, and a 6 year old French Bulldog, who live with me in harmony. I have a friend who is looking to move to Australia and is wanting to rehome her 1 year old neutered, male Sphynx cat. I would love to take him as I feel that Molly (my Sphynx) would love the company, but I have never introduced cats to other cats before. I wouldn't have a clue how to go about it. Any tips??? If it didn't work 100% for all three animals, I wouldn't do it, as I would want them all to be happy. Any advice much appreciated

Where whiskers abound.
Bring in new cat, keep new cat and food and litter box and water in separate room for a couple of weeks until your two pets get used to the smell of the new cat. Try your best to keep the new cat separated from your pets for a couple of weeks. Eventually your two pets will get curious and will want to see the new cat.

Good Luck!

introduce them gradually. The older residents will need "time out".
I have done this recently and my two Golden Retrievers, one cat and one kitten are getting along very well.

Thanks for the tips
. And here was me thinking that all I had to do was to bring the new cat into my home in his box, let my two furbabies smell him for a while... let new cat out and hey presto... instant friends
. Just as well I asked for advice!!
