Update on my little cousin

A few weeks ago I posted about my little buddy, Nathan (3). Well I found out about a week ago that he will need brain surgery. I also found out today that his surgery date is Oct. 18 at Carolinas Medical Center in the Levine Children's Hospital. I know he is a scared little fella. So please continue to keep him in you thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

I thought I would post a picture of my little buddy if any of you wanted to know what he looks like. This is Nathan over the summer.

Thanks.. he is my little buddy and I love him so much. I know that he is getting the best care possible and my aunt told me that his surgeon is one of the best in his field.

CMC is a great hospital. They took excellent care of my dad when he was there and were very kind to us after his passing. They also took excellent care of my younger sister when she gave birth to my nephew baby Alex.

I still worry though because.. as Katz said.. this is major surgery. I don't think I will stop worrying until I know that everything is ok. I thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers.

Poor darling - I don't know if I missed a thread, but why does he need brain surgery? It has got to be so scary for everyone involved, but like you said, the hospital is a great one, and that makes all the difference in the world.
