They are almost 7 weeks old now, Zoe and Yumi. Zoe is having a hard time eating solid food, so I still give them a bottle once a day. When I do that , she is always so hungry, that she bites the rubber. I didn't realize it until she was done and let got the bottle.... Should I be concerned? She took almost the whole rubber tip of the nipple, wich I don't think will be digested. I called the vet but he is in surgery, the tech told me she should pass it through though.

I would keep an eye on her just to make sure she keeps eliminating regularly. As long as she does that, she should be ok.

I dont know how many nipples Dakota ate when I was still bottle feeding the rotten boy. Him and Carrie were forver chewing instead of sucking on their nipples. Anyways he ate tons of the and usually pooped them out the next day. As long as she's eating and acting normal I wouldnt worry to much. Just keep your eye on her.

Fostermomm , really ??!!!
I am soo unexperienced with bottle babies, mine are my first ones. Well, I am glad to know that this is not that unusual, and also that it shouldn't be a big trouble either. I had an appointment at the vet today anyway, for the first shots, and she thinks my Zoe is fine. They are sleepy now , probably because of the shots, but she ate and played and pooped fine today.
Thanks for letting me know.

I was really freaked out the first time he did it too. I rushed him to the vet thinking I had killed my baby. But they said it was pretty common and that every kitten they'd seen had passed it on their own. Just make sure you keep an eye on her!
