There is a beautiful golden and cream feral that has been coming to the outpost to eat at night. He has even gotten brave enough to come up on the back porch, but when I open the door he flees. He won't go into a trap either.
Last night, I fell asleep on the couch and about 2:00 a.m. I woke up to this awful smell! At first I thought it was a skunk, it was nasty! But it is not the time of year for skunks. I got up and turned on the light- and here was this feral his tail high in the air spraying our heat register! Pheeeeeeeew! He turned tail and took off out of the house leaving me to scrub away his signature he left behind. Yuck!
