hi, i just moved into an apt and quickly discovered 4 kittens living hte backyard. with the help of a local rescue group, i trapped the four kittens and also the mother. i had the mom spayed this morning and she is recovering in the trap. the kittens are in a big dog crate and will go to a clinic in 2 weeks. the mother is very docile and young, maybe 6 months old? should i make any attempt to socialize her? i dont really have enough space to give her privacy. the kittens are coming around. my original plan was to try to get the kittens into homes and just release the mother, but of course i am already getting attached. and i have been keeping them apart because i dont think she will react well to being inside? the kittens dont love it, but are adapting. i think they are 2-3 mos old. i dont know.... this whole thing has been difficult. any thoughts?

thanks
jackie

Jackie....I would go ahead and try to socialize her if you can. It doesn't take much space.
