I have a couple of questions that I would appreciate being helped with. Recently I have been left with 2 one month old kittens in my care after their mother unfortunately was killed by a car. She was a stray herself that grew on me so I took her in, very sweet disposition, so all in all I have was learning as I went with her. I haven't ever kept cats prior to her so my knowledge was very limited and now with abandoned kittens I am at a loss. I don't want to get rid of them for they have grown on me and her mother was dear to me as I am more of a dog person and she introduced me to a side of cats that I didn't know existed. So as you may see I need all the help I can get.
As I stated before they are just a month old so my first question is, being a realist, do they stand a chance at surviving at such a young age with someone as inexperienced as I? Like I said their mother was dear to me so if it's do-able I am up for the challenge I just need a little help on what to do. Thank you in advance for your help

Yes, God bless you for taking care of the little orphans !
And yes, they have a good chance of growing up to be beautiful loving well adjusted cats if you learn a few things that you will have to do right now. It happened to me recently. Although I always loved cats, I never had the experience of taking care of very young orphans. Mine were about 8 days old when momma cat went missing and a friend found them and brought them to me... You may need to help them learn how to use the littlerbox and to start eating solid foods, starting with soft ones, if they haven't learned that yet. Take them to a vet when they are about 6 weeks old, they will need the first shots and possibly deworm. And please please have them spayed/neutered whenever the vet says they are ready, that should be around 10 to 12 weeks of age. I also think you came to the right place, this site is filled with kitty experts !

Do you have pictures of them?
