I get cold sores terribly and I always think back to the day when I got them, in 7th grade when I shared a capstick with my best friend. Curse her!!! Well anyway, I get 2-3 breakouts a year and they are aweful and so imbarrassing! There is a slow spreading brand finally catching up with us around the US. It's Arbonne! It's got amazing stuff for everything you could think of cosmetically and is all natural. My aunt is a National VP of the company and she gave me some Arbonne Herbal Lip Ointment for cold sore treatment.

I got a cold sore last week, put the lip ointment on the morning I noticed it, another one started the next morning (this usually happens to me) and kept applying the lip ointment and by the third morning they were both gone! I love that stuff! No one even noticed that I had a cold sore because the ointment really works! The best part about it is that it tastes good and it's way cheaper than abreava (not to mention it actually works)! I think it's around ten dollars for a decent sized tube that could last me 10 years!

If you get cold sores you've got to try this stuff!

I can't remember who told me this awhile back.

I get a cold sore every once in a while; all the sudden there it is! So I go out and buy an orange.
Take a piece of an orange peel, and squeeze the peel, until it "sweats" and you put that on the cold sore. (I do it a couple times that day) So it would be the orange peel juice rather than orange juice.
Yes it stings a bit, but the cold sore itself is more painful to me.
It's like that 'juice' stops the cold sore in its tracks, and it doesn't get bigger and like, the next day, it's not completely gone, but it is drying up and not painful.

You buy Arbonne through a representitive, if you know one. Otherwise you can go to their website. Arbonne.com and they will find a representitive for you and I believe you can buy online then.
