I think my cat is left handed!

Twinkle and I were laying on the couch yesterday, I started dangling a knotted string from my sweatshirt in front of her, (it is rainy and chilly) she would swipe at it with her left paw. It took me a few times before I realized it so I decided to test her, dangle it to the right side-in front-over that way-over here; she prefers her left paw.
Have I made a scientific discovery? Or was it just a quiet day at my house?

I notice Charlie has preference over his right paw. If he is sitting on the floor he will raise the right one off the ground a little. And if he swipes its usually his right (even if he uses both) i was hoping for a south paw like me

My sisters 3 dogs recently participated in a study to find out if dogs can be left or right pawed.

They stuffed a kong with food and counted how many times out of 100 the dog reached with which paw.

The results were one left pawed, one right and the other used both equally. How true this really is I do not know

Princess is left handed. She beats Pitufo with her left hand only. My sister calls her Lefty because of that.

Interesting... I will have to pay much closer attention to my cat.

I'm left-handed and was hoping that Buster would be left-pawed as well. Unfortunately, he is not, as evidenced by his ability to consistently swipe treats out of the package with his right paw. As for Holly Golightly, I'm not sure because I never checked.
