We had another open house a couple of days ago, and the agent says she had three offers for us, and she came over tonight to discuss them with the parents. Our house has only been up for sale for less than a fortnight. And guess what? We got $12000 over what we were hoping for which means stamp duty and moving fees will be taken care of and we can still hopefully get a really good house. Apparently settlement date is January 11th, and we can either move in earlier if we find a house, or extend the time if not, apparently the buyers are flexible.

OMG!!!!

OMg..omg...

Moving AGAIN!!!! Now comes the tough part of actual house hunting (we've been doing it for months daydreaming lol) and hoping we find something that no one else can have!!!

I need chocolate!!

And can someone please stick a note on my father that says 'Emma does not eat hotdogs, she does not eat anything with 4 legs, how many times does she have to tell you 'nothing with 4 legs' before you remember?!?!"

Sheesh.

Ahhh - glad you found a buyer quickly - with the housing market being crappy

Think of it as an adventure. So would you eat it if it had 6 or 8 legs???? (as in insects)?

That's great news! And you have plenty of time to prepare for the move, too. When I was a kid, my father was an Army officer, so we moved every year or two, and I always viewed it as a clean slate, fresh start, another chance to make things right. How exciting!

And bless your heart for becoming a partial vegetarian. You're a person of great principle!

What about 2 legs? If so, then I'm never flying on the same plane as you!

Good luck house hunting!

Lol lol, yeah, you better watch out

I'm a pesce-pollitarian. Which means the only meat i have in my diet is seafood and poultry (ive never eaten duck/goose/pheasant etc) just turkey/chicken.

Ive never nor will i EVER eat insects, caviar, eel, snake, escargot, frogs legs etc. Weird. Blah. Ick.

Sorry Carol, you better take your corn back

Over the river and through the woods...
Congrats on the offer for the house!! I'm sure it is a load off your parent's mind. Yes, they still have to find a house, but they have the time to find what you all want, and now know what they have to work with.

And, I'm not even getting into the cannibal conversation! All my good questions were already taken!
