Eating Pistachios?

I googled this to see if there was any danger to cats who eat pistachios, but found basically nada.

Kanoe decided she wanted a snack and ate two of them. It's rather funny (how many cats eat nuts?).... but I'm just worried that she shouldn't be eating them. What I did find on the internet was that the nuts are toxic to dogs.

Does anyone know?

I don't know if they are poisonous or not. But thought I'd reply that my Thomas goes NUTs for pistachio shells. Ever so slightly dangerous obsession!!!

I have to gaurd the shells with my life and he still usually manages to confiscate one and I have to chase him around to get it back before he cuts up his mouth or chokes himself.
