My kitty Kenzie crossed The Bridge on Friday. She was born July 3, 1990. She was born via c-section. The vet didn't believe that the litter would make it. My sister took the kittens and fed them w/an eye dropper (Mom didn't have milk). A couple of weeks later they were rejoined with Mom and all survived. Kenzie joined us shortly thereafter. Her mother, brother and sister are still living with my parents. She was a sweet girl and always wanted cuddles. She brought 17 years of joy to our house

Here is a picture of her as a kitten

Here is a picture taken of her 2-3 yrs ago when she first became ill. Aunt Susie had sent her a Get Well Kitty.

Aww I'm so sorry for your loss.

Kenzie, go run across the bridge and look for Jakey. He's the one chasing the catnip bubbles.

McKenzie darling, what a life you have had

Such a beautiful girl, such a wonderful spirit. You were loved my so many, even those that had never met you... I for one loved you and wished I could of met you.

You fought so hard against your illness over the last few years. You were so brave. Watch over your family right now, keep them safe. They fought so hard to keep you well, to keep the illness at bay. They miss you terribly.

Run free sweet darling girl - chase those butterflies.

RIP Kenzie - forever loved and never forgotton

Thank you all for you lovely words.
It feels strange going to work as usual. Just continuing as if nothing is missing and nothing's changed. I'm getting used to the fact that it is just part of life , but it's really hard sometimes.

(((((Chris)))))) I was telling Charlie Friday that the past few weeks have been bad ones for several of our longtime members as far as losing our babies goes. And it just continues, doesn't it? You're in my prayers my friend.
