Oh that plaque about the mice sounds cute!!!!
Great gifts everyone!
I can't wait for mine to get here!!!
I am keeping an eye out- hopefully it'll arrive soon!
I'll be sure to snap lots of pictures when it does!!
OK, I got the go ahead to open my gifts!
First I opened the card and the card asked me if I was naughty or nice this year. I was told to find the green box first and open the gift marked naughty or nice. My answer to that is that I have been both naughty and nice.
I unpacked the box and here are pics of the packages:
I found the package that had "naughty or nice on it" :
The other side had a picture of my SS's house:
I opened it up and found a Lush Coal face bar. It was my SS's version of a lump of coal.
Also in the green box was a Republic of Tea green tea set, a cat temporary tattoo, Lush lip balm and a Toronto keychain:
In the next gift bag was some really soft slippers, Lindt chocolate and a really cute snowflake mug:
The next gift bag had two cute reindeer candle holders and vanilla scented candles:
In the bubble wrap was one of my SS's pictures that always makes me laugh in a frame that says "laugh out loud":
In the next gift bag, I found a recipe book that my SS made for me with some of her recipes.
There was also two hand lotions. Both are kitchen deodorizing lotions that will get rid of onion and garlic smells. There was also Christmas cheese spreaders.

Then it was Abby's turn. We opened the cute reindeer stocking to find lots of fun things for her.
There was a laser pointer, a mouse, sparkly balls, a puffy fur ball on a string (this is already a huge hit) and some cute bags with paw prints on them.
If that wasn't enough, there was also a large cardboard box for Abby.
When we opened it, we found a note from our SS's cats:
Yes, Abby got a box of Steve & Gigi approved packing material, just for her!
She was in kitty heaven.

Abby and I were thoroughly spoiled.

Yesterday, I found a slip on my door from them saying my package would be held at my local USPS office... so I went over there directly from work today... the guy at the window couldn't find it, so he asked my carrier... cute guy too... but i digress... he said because it was signature waiver, he left it there today. Now in any other place I'd be okay with that... but I live in a cruddy neighborhood and have 'punks' hanging outside my apt door on the stairs... so I prayed it would still be there... it was, thankfully. He said it was a large box. My eyes went wide...
"how big?"
"About like this," motioning about two foot square with his hands.
"holy cr*p," I said. "What the heck did she get me? this has to be my SS present, but holy cow. thanks!"
I rushed home. As fast as traffic would LET me. the box was sitting on my doorstep (I have no chimney, so Santa has to leave things outside). I pushed it inside with my foot, not as heavy as the box could have been. What could be inside? Hmmmm...
I'm SUCH a Darksider, it's so not funny. I opened the gifts from my parents even... I'm terrible, really. I am a sick, sick puppy.
So, I crack open this big old honkin' box.
Inside, I see this:
I pulled the most obvious item out and set him up on my step stool (closest thing handy)...
SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!! He is SOOOO cute... OMG. I love him.
So... after taking a couple pics, I glanced into the box once again. The Ducky Gods have smiled...
TEN, count 'em, TEN Rubber Duckies... I sense a trip to IKEA in the very near future as I don't think they'll all fit on the one Duckie shelf in the bathroom...
Of course, the Knight had to try slaying the dragon...

So, I set up a spot on the dining table, put down one of my throw blankets and set everything up...

like I said a few more goodies on the way, just waiting for the stuff to resend as I had to do a correction on the address, i'm glad you liked everything!obviously with the other things I had planned on the box being totally full but was hard to find a box to work with the dragon...

Hopefully with the next box, the mail dude will remember (if it's the same guy) and not leave it on my doorstep. I'm sooo lucky it was still there... I think I have to make my little magnet sign a touch bigger...
Trust me, it's alright about it being in two runs... so is mine going to Susie... now, I really need to find that item I need to finish her _______. The gnomes are hiding it, I swear! (gonna banish them once this is over).
Back to cleaning... all in the name of finishing my SS gift!!!
