Fergus is an English Springer Spaniel and he is a sweetie, although the cats tell another story.

They gave me a box of chocolates that I have already gotten into (hey, I was upset, I needed them!). I also received some lotion, bubble bath, and bath gel. Can't wait to use them. Unfortunately, the last part didn't arrive in the proper number of peices.

It was two Christmas mugs. One didn't make the trip. The other one only has a couple of chips on it, but it is beautiful!

Thank you so much to my SS! I really needed the pick-me-up!!

Oh yeah, there is a beanie baby of Punxsutawney Phil (the groundhog)

He is cute! Now, who lives in Punxsutawney?? hmmmm.

I forgot to mention the sudoku book. I LOVE sudoku! I do them every night! I have been working on them all day. I am on number 20 already. Thanks again!!

Since you did guess it was me I just have to tell everyone else the whole story behind why there were no clues in the box.

Tuesday I went to the grocery store and I was going to come home, put the food away then wrap each gift in Christmas paper, put a clue on each gift and put them all in the big box that I had sitting right next to them in the space room, take it to the post office and mail it.

I got home and was putting the food away and all of a sudden I noticed that your address wasn't on the fridge any more...I got this sinking feeling in my stomach walked into the spare room and ALL the gifts were gone..the box was still there, but the gifts were gone.

I called my Husband at work and asked him what he did.
He thought he was doing me a BIG favor by sending the gifts for me.

Me: Mason, did you wrap the gifts in Christmas paper?
Him: No, didn't know I was supposed to
Me: Of course you're supposed to, it's CHRISTMAS you idiot!
Him: Sorry, I thought I was helping.
Me: I don't need that kind of help.
Him: Okay, what's the big deal I said I was sorry.
Me: You didn't put the clues on the gifts.
Him: Why do you need clues?
Me: It's SECERT SANTA...get it, it's a SECERT how is she supposed to know who it's from.
Him: Oh

Me: You got the right.
Him: I'm sorry.
Me: What did you put them in?
Him: They wouldn't all fit in one box so I bought a Christmas box and Christmas bag at the post office.
Me: Oh great, what if they don't get there on the same day?
Him: I never thought of that.
Me: Did you at least tell them to stamp the packages "Perishable" and "Fragile".
Him: Crap, I forgot about the mugs.

Me: I'm sure she'll love a box full of broken crockery.

Him: NO, I wrapped them in bubble wrap and the bag had bubbles inside.

Me: This is the U.S Post Office were talking about they'll never get there in one piece.
Him: They'll be okay.
Me: They better be.
Me: Another thing, she's going to wonder what's up with the Groundhog, I was going to put a note in saying that's where were from.
Him: I put our return address on it
Him: I gotta go, I have reports I need to write.

I love him to death, but sometimes I don't think he has any brains..and he's a Police Detective...makes me wonder how he ever catches any bad guys

Then a little while ago my youngest Son comes walking in with a bag of red and green M&M's...those were supposed to be yours too...along with a box of "Swiss Miss" that somehow ended up in my cupboard.
Mason said he didn't think those things went with the gifts
One mug was going to get filled with the M&M's and the "Swiss Miss" was for the other mug.

I'm sorry the mugs didn't make it in one piece.

Okay, this is truly the Dark side of SS. My DH and I sat down and shared the chocolate bar, dark, dark chocolate (70%) with bits of raspberry in it. Oh my gosh, life is so very, very good when you have an SS that gives such wonderful gifts.
I think I forgot to tell I also got a Bailey's truffle too. I'm going to bed and I'm happy.

Well, I finally have time to sit down and post properly. I got really spoiled by my lovely Secret Santa. She was so generous, and all the gifts were so nicely wrapped, it was even more of a pleasure to open them!

Quite the haul!
I got a delicious cake with the yummiest icing.
A kitten calendar; cat day planner; Burt's Bees lip gloss (yummy); Bath & Bodyworks hand cream (love that place!); 5, count them, 5 Ghirardelli chocolate bars (OMG I almost ate an entire one this morning. My husband has now hidden them from me. They're all different flavours and I'm going to really enjoy trying them all.); silver hoop ear rings; a lovely silver cat-shaped necklace which I'm wearing now; cute little cat slippers (I wear slippers all the time so that's great!); a beautiful cat bookmark, which went straight into the book I'm currently reading.
The boys got - a cat dancer toy which they will love; a bag of the little mice which Wiggies goes nuts for; two Temptations treat bags which they both love; and some home grown cat nip which judging from their reaction is heavy-duty stuff!



I had to confiscate the cat nip as they were going crazy!!!

Just to let everyone know I recieved mine yesterday! No idea who or where it was sent from because all it had was as my boys said some awsome star wars stamps on it (no return address or any markings). I am not sure about opening it yet or waiting. But when I do I'll take pictures. I can't wait to see what is inside and who it is from.

I started the day out in a grumpy mood. I had gotten behind at work so I was trying to catch up. Then the doorbell rang and there was a box on the porch. I brought it in and opened it up. There were lots and lots of goodies and all of the cats came by.

First I piled up the gifts wrapped so nicely.



Carly and Much were checking them out.



But Lucy found the empty shipping box more interesting





I unwrapped them and found all sorts of wonders. But before I could take pictures, Lucy and Carly had to check them out.

The kitties received treats and toys.

I received lovely Dove chocolates, a Body Image bath set, Gingerbread Spice Tea, a stained glass plaque, a book about Pussycats, and a darling little bookmark.
