As usual, all of the Secret Santas are picking such great
}zaq gifts. (Carly had to add her comments - she wants Ari's catnip).

In a way, I'm kind of hoping my SS will be drawn to the dark side. If not, maybe her kitties will be....and can convince her to join them. Kitties can be very convincing that way....

WoooHoooo!!!! I got a package from Wisconsin! Cleo seems pretty interested! She's the official inspector of everything new that comes into the house. I am going to wait until the Flexeril and Vicodin wear off a little, so I can take some pictures (with reasonable clarity) of my package. Still deciding whether or not to heed the dark side urgings.....(they are rather strong here...)

Cleo, if meowmy doesn't want to come to the dark side I trust you'll persuade her!

Kelli Jo, Perhaps you shouldn't wait for the pills to wear off... are you more easily coerced when under the influence? OPEN! (P.S. Hope your not feeling too bad!)

I've opened my gift! I was harassed into going over to the Dark Side (they told me there was something edible
) so I just had to open it.
I'm blown away by my lovely pressies! I'm going to get some photos up, but not till Saturday....
Thank you so much, Secret Santa! Those are really thoughtful, lovely gifts.

BTW, my boys are going nuts over the catnip!!!

Another parcel has arrived. It was on my back porch this evening when I got home.
After a few homecoming formalities, I was joined in the dining room for the opening festivities by Cindy. Fawn had been hanging around somewhat expectantly when I brought the box in, but disappeared by the time I came back. They are not usually very helpful with parcels, so all of this was somewhat surprising.

Anyway, the return address was sufficient to make me reasonably certain who our benefactors were, and this was confirmed by the sweet greeting from Lucy that I think you can see in the midst of the pretty parcels...

So then the opening began. As expected, no help from felines, but the contents definitely drew comment...

Cindy approves the carrier blanket...

Cindy kills a catnip pillow...

Fawn appears and demands a pillow of her own...

Cindy looks with disdain on her sister, still being silly, and declares that SHE can still be dignified...

And, the haul...

Mum loves her stuff, too:
Lovely red sleep socks from Bath & Body Works
Celestial Seasonings Tea - Gingerbread spice

Hot Chocolate Mixes
"Peanuts" Christmas mug
Dark Chocolate bar (Rocky Mtn Chocolate Factory)
Box Chocolates (RMCF)
Crocheted Snowman -- he's a real sweetie, and promised not to melt

Kids:
Cat Blanket
Catnip Pillows in Basket

We have been well spoiled, Jana, Lucy, Carly and Much -- Many thanks for our lovely gifts.
