Here's the haul Lots of things for the Kitties, There was a Darling Cup, a calender, A little decorated jar with the almighty butterfingers Some Nice smelling potpourri Some seeds for cat mint and cat grass, and a great smelling car scent thing...Thank You so much everything is great
Jenny Ranson is my SS and I really love everything she sent, and there is truly a lot to love! She sent presents for everyone, me, DH, Sam, Clio, Pru and Fergus. She put a lot of thought into everything.
Fergus with one of his presents:
Jenny sure spoiled you! Great presents!
As soon as I saw this picture I shouted "CHOPPER!!!" at my monitor! Chopper was my cousin's childhood dog and boy was he mean! Actually I don't think he was mean, just barked and that scared me so I said he was mean! But the more I look at this picture I think Fergus looks more like my ex-step-mother's dog Lacey, who passed years ago. (Chopper too actually.) What breed is he?
Ok sorry for mini hijack!
I don't know how my TCS SS knew that I would need a pick me up today, before even I did. My DH is in Wisconsin with his mom, and was supposed to come home today. He called me this morning and told me he was sick and was chaning his flight to Sunday. I was really upset as I had taken off work this weekend, and am finally done with school for the semester. He got mad at me for being upset and made some comments about how he never gets to spend time with his mom and I made him feel guilty. Whatever. So, in tears, I walk outside to go to my car, and there are two packages sitting on the front porch. Made me cry even more.
Anyway, back to the subject. My SS is from Groundhog, USA. I have no idea who it is though. No hints in the package. I don't have my camera, so no pics, sorry!
They gave me some kitty toys-several mice and even thought about my dog. Some balls for him, and some treats. They gave me a box of chocolates that I have already gotten into (hey, I was upset, I needed them!). I also received some lotion, bubble bath, and bath gel. Can't wait to use them. Unfortunately, the last part didn't arrive in the proper number of peices. It was two Christmas mugs. One didn't make the trip. The other one only has a couple of chips on it, but it is beautiful!
Thank you so much to my SS! I really needed the pick-me-up!!
Oh yeah, there is a beanie baby of Punxsutawney Phil (the groundhog)
He is cute! Now, who lives in Punxsutawney?? hmmmm.
I forgot to mention the sudoku book. I LOVE sudoku! I do them every night! I have been working on them all day. I am on number 20 already. Thanks again!!
Well, I finally have time to sit down and post properly. I got really spoiled by my lovely Secret Santa. She was so generous, and all the gifts were so nicely wrapped, it was even more of a pleasure to open them!
Wiggies helping me unwrap.
One for me, one for the kitties! And my hubby ate most of the cake - you gotta be quick around here!
Wiggies inspecting the haul.
The boys loved all the ribbons!
Quite the haul!
I got a delicious cake with the yummiest icing.
A kitten calendar; cat day planner; Burt's Bees lip gloss (yummy); Bath & Bodyworks hand cream (love that place!); 5, count them, 5 Ghirardelli chocolate bars (OMG I almost ate an entire one this morning. My husband has now hidden them from me. They're all different flavours and I'm going to really enjoy trying them all.); silver hoop ear rings; a lovely silver cat-shaped necklace which I'm wearing now; cute little cat slippers (I wear slippers all the time so that's great!); a beautiful cat bookmark, which went straight into the book I'm currently reading.
The boys got - a cat dancer toy which they will love; a bag of the little mice which Wiggies goes nuts for; two Temptations treat bags which they both love; and some home grown cat nip which judging from their reaction is heavy-duty stuff!
I had to confiscate the cat nip as they were going crazy!!!
The earrings and necklace.
I'm still so blown away by all the thought and care that went into my present. Thank you, Secret Santa! Now I have to find out who you are!!
I came home today & saw this fairly large package sitting outside my door. My first thought was that my sister finally sent my birthday gift she's been promising since August 7th (that would be my b.day). As I was opening the box it dawned on me what it was.
I just want to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
I LOVE IT!!!
It may be early, but the timing couldn't have been more perfect! I've been so stressed I actually took a day off yesterday just for my mental health. So, the Bath & Body set was PERFECT!!! You make me smile today!
