Hello everyone,

I found one abandon kitten on my doorstep this morning, i bought it to the vet and told me he was 2 months old.
I'm a bit worried, he isn't eating his food (dry food, like the vet said) and isn't drinking either. Somehow he is playing a lot.
What should i do ?

I would be grateful if someone can tell me how to handle this cute kitten

First of all, bless you for taking in this kitty!! He might not be eating or drinking because he's scared in the new place. If he's not eating by the morning, try getting some really gross smelling wet food and offering that to him. Just play with him and love him and you'll do fine!

Try some canned foods. Kittens seem to like that better. Keep a bowl of fresh water available. Not milk
Also confine the kitten to a small room, usually bathrooms work well so he's not so scared.

I've had 3 week old kittens sampling water from mom's dish

Until he's drinking on his own, add some warm water to the canned food and make it soupy for awhile.

Wet food contains water anyway, so he may not feel the need just yet. Keep an eye on him though.

When I first got Ziggy at 9 weeks, she didn't eat, drink or poop for 3 days!!! I was really worried but she was just adjusting and was very scared.

Well done for taking the cat in

You may want to call the vet. Has he been checked for worms? Kittens can dehydrate quickly and you don't want that.
