Oh did i mention it was a c-section? Mind you....i think they'd still be making a bigger incision *cringes*

Please let my first baby be small lol.

I was talking to this woman the other day, she told me her daughter in law just had her second child, something like 6 pounds, and a 2 hour labour!!

My husband and I can't wait to have children, we have even named them
, but I am not looking forward to being in labor!! I hate pain and needles, so I'm pretty much SOL!

I wonder if the mom was diabetic....it can cause heavier birth weights in infants.

WOW! I gave birth to Quads & their combined birth weights equaled to about 17lbs... LOL! That's NUTS!

That's what I was wondering, too, Nikki.

I've seen a 12 lb. baby (the mother's 10th), but can't imagine 17 lbs.!

The title of this thread made me hurt. My daughter was only 7 lbs. 2 oz. One of my cousins was just over 10 lbs. when he was born, which I thought was huge, and he came out of my petite 5'2'' aunt.

Ouch is all I can say. My oldest was just over 8lbs with a 13 hour labor and that was rough enough. I can't imagine carrying a 17 lb baby in me. Wow.
