I found out who has been nibbling on the fruit, we have a bowl of fruit on our table, there has been little bite marks, I was beginning to think we had a mouse problem, I just saw Lucky on the table eating an apple, yesterday it was a pear, is eating the fruit going to hurt her? I have moved the fruit bowl to the fridge,

Not likely but call the vet and speak with the vet or a TECH not receptionist

I phoned the vet, he said as long as the friut was washed, she should be fine, it was organic and washed, I don't think she knows she's a cat

As long as its not the seeds or the leaves the cat will be ok with fruit. Charlie likes strawberries, peaches, and plums. But I only give him a bite of the fruit - he never gets near the seed part

I had never seen a cat eat fruit, I am so glad there are others , I used to have a dog that picked wild raspberries and ate them

Layla eats anything she can! I always have her dry food out and give her wet food once a day, so she is not hungry, but she leaps at my plate and so far we have discovered that she likes: BBQ potato chips, Tostitos, pineapple, steak, bread, sandwich meat, cream of chicken soup
, and dog food ( that wasn't on my plate
, but she likes it)!
