West Side Nut Club Fall Festival

THis is our big local festival. Four blocks of a street are blocked off and food booths line both sides. This is not the week to diet!!! All smart attendees take their own copy of the munchie map. Gotta find out which booth has what you want and what odd delight the Montessori Academy is serving this year.

Oh, get in line early for the brain sandwiches. They go fast!

Sounds like fun Jan, but I'd really have to take a pass on the brain sandwiches.

We have the Boggy Bayou Mullet Festival in October. No dieting here either!

Fried gator, mullet, shark and everything else.

I think there are things to do starting tonite. The car display on Friday nights draw a big crowd but Sat they usually have 100,000 people attending!!
Gotta get the Tiger Paws from one church group, buy the best clam chowder from the Scuba Club (a recipe that Campbell Soup company tried to buy)

Then look at all the craft stuff and enjoy they many bands that play throughout the day.

I'll take a pass on the brain sandwich, too. But Mom loves them. I personally go for the breaded pork tenderloins. Huge sandwich.

I was wondering that too. Dosen't Susie like nuts? Sounds like fun to me!

Anyone within a 30 mile radius or so that are members of TCS will be there!!

looks good, but i would walk though there and gain 10 pounds just by looking at the food

Amen! I ran into a guy I graduated from high school 15 years earlier. He grabbed me, hugged me (in front of wifey and the 5 daughters) and proceeded to talk me into going to the 15 year reunion.
