We have 2 resident cats and just got a new kitten last week. We have kept the kitten in a separate room unless we are supervising. One of my kitties, Simon, seems to have pretty much stopped eating now that the new kitten has been introduced!

He'll eat his "treats" (wet food mixed with water) and will eat dry treats as well, but turns his nose up at his regular dry (which he has been eating for years.)

I'm sure it's because of the new kitten, but what can I do? Will he eat if he gets hungry enough? How can I encourage him to eat?

[Since the new kitten arrived, I've tried to give my residents extra attention, kept their routine as normal as possible . . . ]

Poor thing, good luck. I think he will start eating again, but tempt him with good stinky stuff.
