My girl is an escape artist and at my new place it really worried me. I'm getting her chiped next week, but I was wondering if anyone knew a good place to get an embroidered collar with her name and my #?

Thanks in advance!

I got Oliver's from http://www.ragtimepetcollars.com/intro.html several people here have collars from her... yes they're a little more expensive than what you see in the store, but they're very worth it! Oliver used to shred pet store ones just from usual scratching with his back feet (even though I keep his nails clipped) but I've had his ragtime collar for a year now and it still looks great! His is embroidered with his name and my number and he's also microchipped and has an ID tag

Well, if you're in an urban location domestically, you can find nice collars at Petco, PetsMart or other "pet" supply stores; be sure to get only a safety or breakaway collar specifically for cats, and don't buy a collar designed for puppies or dogs! I bought beautiful embroidered collars through http://www.DrsFosterSmith.com but I understand this is something you need right away, so I'd try the above first. Good luck!

Does petsmart do embroidery though? I guess I could write it on the inside and outside with a sharpie, but I don't know how long that would last. I'm afraid an ID tag might bug her though or make a jingle for a predator to hear her if she gets out.
