Last night Kitto and I went to the vet to plan his neuter, and he was re-tested for FIV and it was Negative. We are sooo happy. So the original weak positive was from the antibodies from his mom when he was tiny. On the down side, the vet could only find one of his little boy parts, so his neuter is going to be a spay to look inside and find where it is hiding. I forget what it is called, but the vet said she had never seen this in a cat before. Kitto has had a rough time, I'm so happy he doesn't have FIV too.

I'm glad his test was ok

And sending vibes that finding all of his bits isn't a lot of work.

Watching the robins sing!
Oh that is great news about the FIV test! I hope that his little "internal" snipping goes well. I know that it is not uncommon for a male dog's "balls" to not drop - so maybe that is the same thing! Keep us posted!

Cryptorchidism. Yep the little devils are "orchids!"

Glad you found out and are having it done -- they can become malignant if left inside!

Excellent news about the FIV, too.

yes, that is what it is called, and she said she never saw a cat with it, just dogs. She seems to be a very good vet, she is new for us.
