She's been eating Aunt Jeni's for about two weeks, and she wolfs it down like a ravenous lunatic at every feeding. She was never a picky eater, but she was never this enthusiastic about food, either.

Dave bought groceries tonight, but after lugging them up four flights of stairs, sat down to rest before putting them away (or feeding The Lucy Beast). He heard the nosy girl poking around the bags in the kitchen, but didn't think anything of it until he saw her dragging a steak across the living room. He took it away from her, put it on the counter, and thinking he'd thwarted her, started preparing her food, so she'd leave ours alone. The little brat immediately started trying to get some chicken breasts out of a bag.

I'm going to try some other prepared raw varieties, but wanted to give everyone an update on our progress (and some encouragement for those of you thinking about going raw). Raw gets a big thumbs up from the Lucy Beast.

Of course, the Meezer Girl would rather steal popcorn or pasta than even think about canned food, much less raw. Baby steps, I guess. *sigh*

Yep I have three of those! I started on Sunday, and my elder, IBD Boy is now refusing EVERYTHING, including his Kitty Crack!
I ahd meant to transition him SLOWLY, but it is not to be.

#4 still refuses raw.

The kitten drags her portion under the couch (NOT ANYMORE), lest someone steal it from her!

Raw is actually FUN!

But ... I must admit I am glad the humans on the house are VEG --- no interest in stealing OUR food!
