Oi vey, I am going to be one of THOSE pet owners I think, lol! I have been looking everywhere for cute beds, collars & harnesses...why are all the cute pet sites for dogs only? We cat lovers have good taste too!

Everywhere I look it's just RED or BLUE and not even well designed! So I've been browsing elsewhere looking for cute things.

Aside from that, here are some odd harnesses I found. What do you guys think? :/ I know some of them are vests but I hear those are pretty safe...

More cute harness/jackets here: The New York Dog Shop

My concern is that they are built specifically for a dog's broad chest and won't fit a kitty....anyone have any thoughts? I can sew so I am pretty sure I could modify it.

Found this WONDERFUL website called moderncat.com which reviews cool cat things.

I know what you mean, it's so awful I'm seriously considering opening a posh kitty store!
I'd love to have cute collars & toys for my babies...I guess I'll try these out and report back here. Maybe they'll work just fine.

surprisingly enough, I've really liked my simple one from petsmart. They do have ones in with sparkles now, and I've noticed some cute patterns emerging in both harnesses and collars (pink with brown and blue circles is my personal favourite and I'm still trying to come up with a good reason why dynah needs one).
There's always ragtime, if you're looking for a simple harness/lead with a really cute pattern on it.

Oh I just had to buy the blue & chocolate one from Lupine!
So cute! I also found some freaking adorable collars at ShanLogic ( http://www.shanalogic.com/ ). These are the two I got...

Thank you guys! I love the suggestions, I've grabbed up 2 more harnesses I fell in love with.

Wow my baby is going to be a little fashion monkey! D:

Well, the harness I use is the Freedom harness by Gooby. (It is a harness made for small dogs, but I have used them on my devon kitten, who is a small cat, and it has worked well.) I know that the online Cat Connection shop carries them in S,M,L sizes. When Ares was little, he was too small for the S size, so I found an XS at an online boutique for dogs, and I must say it has worked really well - the material is somewhat strechy, so he moves fluidly when wearing his harness. The only negatives I would say is that the front strap does not open, so it must be put over the head, and the closure is metal (although this has never bothered Ares). I like this harness, as it looks a shade sporty, but is sturdy and functional, and does not cause pulling on the cat's neck (which many feline harnesses do).

Thanks,

Becca (And Ares and little boy who is not yet named)
