A Beautiful Tribute to a Pet

She wrote "Arigato" (Thank you) as a tribute to her dog that died.

This is one of my favourite songs. Even if you don't understand the words, her voice and the music tell the story.I would love to see Kokia in concert. Her voice is amazing.

I know. Even before I knew the history of the song or what it was saying I ended up crying.

If you get a chance, listen to some of the other videos with her singing. Her voice is genuine and nothing is remixed to make her sound better. There is on where she is singing just with a drum and you would swear that there were other instruments too because her voice has such a musical sound to it.

Oh, Natalie - such beautiful words.... There should be a permanent link to the Crossing the Bridge forum because those are truly words of healing. It reminds me of why I continue to visit cats in shelters whenever I can - when people tell me that I shouldn't because it is wrong to see them there knowing that I will walk away, I remind myself of the passage in the New Testatment that Jesus says that whenever we visit someone in jail, we are visiting Him, and I tell myself that therefore I am visiting His cats, too.
