Just thought, perhaps, I might post a few of the local adoptables!

Yaro, stray, front declawed, female orange DLH - Hugs!!

Lonesome, stray, front declawed/neutered, male DLH grey & white tuxie - Snuggler!

Sahara, surrender, front declawed/neutered- spraying, massive UTI!

Mojave, surrender, front declawed/neutered- spraying, massive UTI! Very overweight!

Norm, surrender, front declawed/neutered, mitted tabby - not thrilled with a bear hug by me!
Loves everyone(wanted to go see someone else in the pics)

Lolly, surrender, front declawed/spayed - shy!

Binx, surrender - silly!

Boots, surrender - lap cat!

Binx & Boots need to be placed together. Sahara & Mojave came in together, but will likely be seperated. Lolly & Norm came in together, but will likely be seperated.

We have had 3 stray front declawed kitties in the past month(2 in the past week). And 4 front declawed surrenders in the past month. One more came in today.

And of course, don't forget PJ & Punky in my siggy!!

I wish I could adopt Yaro! She is so big and beautiful, and looks like she is enjoying her hugs. If I were closer, I would consider adding her to my family. Maybe she could teach my silly bunch that humans love kitty hugs.

Vibes for a wonderful furrever home for all of them.

Sahara's got the most lovely eyes...I hope she (and all of the other kits too!) find forever homes soon.

No adoptions, at all.
It's been 5 weeks since we've had an indoor adoption. Not even any interest in any of these guys!!!

Binx & Boots got placed, not a stellar home, but they were developing "issues".

Yaro, Sahara/Mojave, Lolly/Norm, & Lonesome are still there. The rest of our declawed kitties are following....

Mama & Steve(, at bare minimum 6 years old, in & out of our facility like 3 times, Mama only has 3 teeth we had the rest extracted one of the time she was here, Mama just wants her chin scratched, Steve is a talker....and they're never gonna get placed.

Mama Absolutely, positively must go together-no ifs, ands, or buts!

Steve

Flash-my Queen, above all other kitties.
Stray, front declawed

Jay-adopted out by us, became terrified of kids/husband so surrendered back, neutered, front declawed, UTD on shots, & housetrained

And poor Captain, completely declawed
, neutered, housetrained, stray boy. Sweet as pie....offering his assitance with adoption paperwork in the pics!

We stopped taking surrenders, absolutely no more space. The majority of our cats are strays, but the surrenders are often declawed.

Watching the robins sing!
My goodness, what is wrong with people? I love Lonesome and Captain. Obviously, I am way too far away, but I do have a question. Can declawed cats be safely placed with "regular" cats, or does the fact that they have no "defense system" make it unsafe?

My Twitch is front declawed, all my other have claws....they all do fine. Twitch actually has no teeth, no claws, & is deaf. When she attacks, even the 90 lb dog ducks!
