One Year Ago...(Happy Gotcha Day!)

One year ago today, Eileen and I were both a nervous wreck.

One year ago today, a beautiful little dilute calico came from Ohio to Colorado, and became a part of my family, a gift from the Kitty Fairy (that's what Katie calls Eileen).

Ginger Cookie has been a wonderful part of our family for the last year. Well, Ophelia's opinion may differ slightly. But although there have been joys and frustrations along the way, Ginger is truly a joy to me. She's a playmate for Trent and Mojo. She's adorable, beautiful, stubborn, fun, loving, sweet, playful, and did I mention a little stubborn?

There's that sweet, gorgeous (and a little stubborn ) girl. I can't believe it's been a year already!
