The new mother of three days just gave birth to a sixth kitten! 3 days after the first five! But it seems it is attached to the cord and can"t get free! Should I intervene and try to cut it myself?

YES!!! Tie some dental floss or something VERY similar to the cord nice nd tight about an inch away from the baby. No closer. Then cut the cord on the side of the dental floss that is furthest from the baby.

Make sure the mum cat delivers the placenta though!!! She is probably shocked herself, which is probably why she hasn't cut the cord herself

Let me know how it goes.
