Competitive crossword puzzlers would be remotely interesting? I sure as heck didn't. Yet, last night I popped in WordPlay and was fascinated for an hour and a half.

Here's the deal, I don't even LIKE crossword puzzles. I find them to be a frustrating enterprise that leads me to throwing my pen across the room, but for some reason this movie made me want to go out and try them again.

Pick it up. You'll be fascinated too.

I love this movie! But I also obsessed with The New York Times crossword puzzles. Interesting that you liked the movie even tho you don't do crosswords.

The New York Times Crossword puzzle has a cult following. Even for people who don't live anywhere near NYC.

It is one the most complex puzzles and it get harder each day of the week. You hear people talking about being able to do Monday-Wed. but not Thurs-Sat.

Studies have said it challenges your brain and keeps it functioning. All I know is I'm obsessed with finishing the whole week.

I liked WordPlay too.

I feel that way about a lot documentaries - even if I dont think I'll be into it or enjoy the topic, I end up liking the film anyway (if it is done well).

I agree with the "hate crossword puzzlers". They are just too hard for me. Too many english words mean the same dang thing! Although I am fasinated to watch people figure out the meanings and so quickly. I just don't get it! They all say it takes years of practice.
