I am currently feeding my 6 wk old kitten Science Diet Kitten canned food. He's so tiny that he can't chew dry food yet (the kibbles are too big even in the kitten food)

Well his breath and his stools are very stinky. Can this be caused by the wet food? What type of food would you recommend? (commercially available please) Will switching to dry (when he's ready) help?

Thanks!

I would keep him on wet food for the remainder of his life because of the fillers they put in dry food. There are some dry foods that are healthier though. Sharky may jump on this post because she knows a lot about food. I would go to Petsmart or something and look and see if they have other wet kitten foods. Good luck!

I would get something better then Science Diet. My kittens LOVE Nutro Max wet Kitten food and their poo does not smell that bad
