it does Tammie, but every once in awhile you'll think of him and your heart will catch. it is so amazing how much these little furry creatures can consume us isn't it? I lost my Simon a little over a year ago now, I believe he was my soulmate kitty, and during times of stress and insecurity he comes to me in my dreams to tell me everything will be ok... I always believe him

I took these pictures yesterday morning. I was prompted to do so before I went to work. If you look real closely in his closest ear, you'll see the purple bruising. By the time I got home, the other one was purple too. Anyway, I'm glad I took these last pictures.

I hope you're right. Because right now my heart catches every minute of the day and night. That's so nice that Simon comes to you in your dreams. I hope Jake does too.

Oh no, I am so sad to read this! I am so sorry about Jake, Tammy He was such a beautiful baby and a strong fighter.

Your perfect little boy will have been met at the end of the bridge by all the other TCS kitties to take him to his new home

Jake will be missing you just as much as your missing him, but he'll be ok

Have a wonderful time at the bridge you gorgeous sweet boy, but mind you keep looking down on your mum and Peaches to make sure their safe until you see them again

I was on my way in to write my on RB thread when I saw this, I've followed Jakes story ever since you got him and his sister. God bless you for taking them both in and loveing them, caring for them as only a true "mom" can to their kitties. You're in my prayers, my friend.

Oh I didn't see this until just now. I am so very sorry. I truly fell in love with Jake from all the photos, posts and descriptions of him. I know that Patrick and other special tcs kitties will have welcomed him into their special corner of heaven and that he is being well cared for by them.

Yes I am so blessed to have had him in my life. I feel lucky that I was the one chosen to care for him and love him.

The last couple of days I've been getting an idea of how many people followed Jake's story! It really warms my heart that so many got to know him and his true, fighting spirit!
