Hello & Meow from the Oregon Coast

Hi~

I just wanted to introduce myself as I will probably be visiting here a lot! I currently have three cats. Luca, is a year old and is a male Blue DSH Tabby. Kissa is about five months and she is a DLH Calico. And my baby boy is Kona a Blue DLH who is four months old. All three are just my loves and I'm thrilled to have these darling little creatures! My son was allergic to cats so I haven't had cats in 20 years but now that he is grown and on his own...I can once again have them around!

I am also in the stages of becoming a foster mom for cats and kittens through my local Animal Shelter so finding this site was so wonderful as I'm sure I will need tons of advice and insight!

I also will be trying to get help on a stray that I try to take care of and have found a forum here to get some advise on how to do that! Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and again, I am thrilled I found this site!

And thank you immensly for fostering!! It is a much needed wonderful service...although it is hard to let them go.

Hi! Thanks for your interest in being a foster mom. There are never enough foster homes. It can be difficult when you get so attached but it's rewarding too. I just had some kittens spayed/neutered and they will be going to a rescue to be put up for adoption soon. It's hard to let them go but they wouldn't even be alive if I hadn't taken their mom in to foster. She would have been euthanized.
By being a foster you save cat's lives. Thank you for taking care of the stray too!
